I hear the mini-probes don't hurt as much.

drop off “mini probes” that could invade Earth.
I think this was the premise of Harry Turtledove’s alternate history series, “World War.”

Is she saying, size matters?

No, this is quite serious. This massive object is seeding the solar system.

It’s in a retrograde hyperbolic orbit. About the dumbest way to drop anything off. They have to slow down by about 60 miles/sec if they want to visit anything . We can’t see it get close to Mars because the Sun will be in the way.

Grok:
The interstellar comet 3I/ATLAS poses no threat to Earth. Its closest approach to our planet will be approximately 1.8 astronomical units (about 270 million kilometers or 170 million miles) on December 19, 2025, which is a safe distance. The comet follows a hyperbolic trajectory, meaning it is not gravitationally bound to the Sun and will pass through the solar system without coming dangerously close to Earth. It will approach Mars more closely (0.19 AU, or 28 million kilometers) on October 3, 2025, and reach its closest point to the Sun (1.4 AU, or 210 million kilometers) around October......
