The first word in the headline is “rare.” Then it goes on to say that this reveals how the brain travels through time. Huh? Generalizing from one case? Doesn’t sound like science to me.

We all compartmentalize memories to some extent.

Some just do it better than others.

I have vague memories of when I was 4 or 5 years old, but nothing solid.

Once I started school at six, memories increase, and some are vivid.............
