If the Earth is a disc how is it half of the Earth is nighttime and the other half seeing the sun?
Of course, you first have to reconcile that the sun and moon aren't vast distances away and are close and inside the firmament just as described in the Bible.
The closeness can also be verified through prepuscular rays. Do you know what those are?

That diagram does not work. The sun would never set. Close or not everyone on Earth would see the sun get brighter or dimmer but never night. At least the Earth centered Ptolemy model allowed for the Earth to be a sphere!
Crepuscular rays are an example of perspective. Parallel lines converge to a distant point . With the Sun at 93 million miles away the light rays that reach us are very close to parallel. Discovery of the laws of perspective truly changed art to be more realistic long before photography was invented.
