That’s pretty. We get many mornings of fog off the river & it makes for some beautiful scenes.
Headed to the hospital this morning (before I get dirty & sweaty) to see my cousin, who is not faring well. I checked the dahlias & the blooms were either too old (petals falling off) or too new & unfurled to use. I thought the zinnias were ‘done’, but I found about 8 California Giant blooms that are still pretty. There were enough to make a colorful cluster in a small vase.
I love having home grown flowers to take to people. Next year I need to stagger the planting so they all don’t go to wrack & ruin at the same time.
