Those of us who were posting Q threads were duplicating each others' efforts and trying to sort ourselves out. Trolls were asserting themselves in multiple threads (more for Mods to deal with).
Swordmaker suggested I post a combined thread. In response, I hid in the garage, afraid to even try that. What would that look like? How would we post multiple drops on one thread? What if it lead to confusion and people became discouraged.. Swordy suggested it again.
I emailed a question (or statement) to JR asking if I could make a combined thread. I never got a response.
Since no one told me 'No,' I posted the ping list request to find out if others were interested in a combined thread, and was beyond stunned at how many replied. *Oh No!!! Now I have to actually go through with it!!!*
Bagster was there but I didn't know him personally. He was certainly good to have around to deal with the troll hordes. On day I thought to warn him I was 'preparing to launch the new thread' as we were already under continuous attack.
Bagster swiftly answered in the language of a pirate, "Aye Aye, Captain! I'll prepare the men to transfer over." At my computer, I laughed like a hyena - it was the first time it really registered that he LOVED the fighting.
His attitude took the excess stress out of my attitude - as did all the FReeQs who helped me 'get it together'. It was never all on me to make it work, it was on all of us.
