In China they are cracking down on EV bikes for some reason, as a result people are motorizing wheel chairs and using those - some have been clocked at close to 50 km/hr or more. I’m sure the state will eventually outlaw those as well, but seeing some of the videos are just nuts.

EV bikes are becoming a menace here too. They go very fast and the drivers dart in and out of traffic and sometimes seem to appear out of nowhere. I’ve been surprised more than once by an EV biker and am now constantly on the lookout for them.
