One of his titles as King of Great Britain is “Defender of the (Christian) Faith,” and I’m pretty sure he took a vow at his coronation to uphold it. His praise for Islam is diametrically opposed to this. It will be interesting to see if anyone calls him out for breaking his vow. Rather I should say, “if anyone ***cares enough*** to call him out.”
But then the British people have known about his infatuation with Islam for years, and no one said anything. So I guess I answered my own question.
His “public infatuation” as you call it with Islam is PR. PR based on bad outdated advice. PR based on the idea if the sovereign shows “sympathy” Islamic residents of the UK will be loyal and Islamic countries will price their oil reasonably and buy UK goods. As we have seen demonstrated most of that “PR advice” is at best a sad laugh at worst dangerous to the country! There’s a Freeper here who knows Charles served with him in the Royal Navy. His over-the-top environmentalism would be what would separate him from the most of the social & religion views of the average member of this site. That Freeper has said that here. It’s not me making it up. It’s the most accurate assessment you will get of Charles. Yes he could be lying. Yes it could be a sneaky Information Op by MI6. Odds are vanishing small on that but if your mind turns to the conspiratoral way go for it.
I may have this wrong, but I think there was a bit of a scandal when he made an alteration in his vow and said he would defend the “faiths” instead of “Faith.”

I think the Crown may have sold out the kingdom to the Caliphate. Elites LOVE islam for reasons I’ve previously mentioned. Given that a majority of them (elite) are either professing atheists or clandestinely sworn to Lucifer, islam is a no-brainer for them in that they get a ready made public following, ultimate power in a serf/Lord relationship and no moral boundaries regarding citizenry that refuses to accept/convert to islam.
