I believe most faithful Christians still look to the mystical Body of Christ on earth to see plainly the way of the world and man in time.
The events of travesty in The Bascilica of St. Peter surely made the faithful wretch, as if seeing pur Lord on the way to the Holy Cross, whom we strain to imitate.
