Supposedly there is a video of someone on the boat misfiring a flare....so this may just come down to incompetence....which wouldn’t be surprising.
Yes, I think that was in the article I posted from PDW (although I didn’t have time to do a thorough confirmation of those details).
Agree re probable incompetence. Especially with anything having the Grimacing Garden Gnome anywhere in the vicinity. 😆
