When ‘non-dogmatic’ information becomes FREE & TRANSPARENT it becomes a threat to those who attempt to control the narrative and/or the stable.
When you are awake, you stand on the outside of the stable (‘group-think’ collective), and have ‘free thought’.
"Free thought" is a philosophical viewpoint which holds that positions regarding truth should be formed on the basis of logic, reason, and empiricism, rather than authority, tradition, revelation, or dogma.
When you are awake, you are able to clearly see.
The choice is yours, and yours alone.
Trust and put faith in yourself.
You are not alone and you are not in the minority.

His “public infatuation” as you call it with Islam is PR. PR based on bad outdated advice. PR based on the idea if the sovereign shows “sympathy” Islamic residents of the UK will be loyal and Islamic countries will price their oil reasonably and buy UK goods. His over-the-top environmentalism would be what would separate him from the most of the social & religion views of the average member of this site. That Freeper has said that here. Python is VERY user friendly. To get the scripts to scrape our threads did involve some HTML understanding, but it was pretty easy considering the complex task.

How much of stuff like that is his choice or Parliament. It’s my understanding Parliament sends him a list\recommendations for “honors”. The modern Monarchy balances on a knife edge of existence. Parliament has allowed the Monarchy to continue to exist since it restored Charles II, invited William of Orange over to sit on the throne and gave the throne to sausage eaters of Saxe-Colburg (I think i have that right!) now called Windsor. In all cases i just named Parliament allowed the Monarchy to continue to exist. Labor particularly this Maoist flavored UK Labor government would love an excuse to do away with it. The Labor party in past Marxist convulsions has stated that as a goal.
Remember Parliament is supreme. The UK has no written constitution. It’s constitution is tradition and acts of Parliament. It’s busy demonstrating the huge flaw of democracy. If you got the votes you can be as stupid as is humanly or inhumanly possible. Nothing constrains you as long as you have the votes which you will always have with the right democratically passed law.
This is why the Founding Fathers chose a republic which we are busily throwing away.
