The Cabal seems to wants to escalate, with intentional displays of contempt for Charlie, filthy jokes and lies blaming Charlie and Trump for his death, shows of hatred for 'thoughts and prayers', for our desire to comfort one another in the latest attack on decency. I wondered if the school shooting, which occurred in Denver at a school called 'Evergreen', was comms. Tulsi is naming names. Why would they wait much longer?

I’ve hit a soda can with consecutive shots at 300 yards with my Olympic 10-22 but you only really have a chance at making that shot with that (.22 LR) with subsonic rounds because very few .22 LR rounds that are supersonic can maintain that velocity out at that range and transitioning back through the sound barrier crushes precision.
Aguila sells some 1800 or so fps, light .22 but that stuff groups like buckshot at 200 yds.
Theres some other rounds in that range that would work (.17 HMR, .22 WMR) but if this is “agency” or “professional” the shooter is going to pick the absolute lowest failure rate caliber/cartridge combination possible AND have as close to a bulletproof egress plan/route as possible.

I agree that the range exceeds a .22lr . It appears they let that guy go.

But, there is a white tent approximately 9 feet above his head. And the sniper was 40 feet up on the rooftop, and Charlie was 4 feet down in a pit. I don’t see how the killer could make that shot. There is more going on here.

Subsonic makes sense if the rifle pictured up-thread is the actual weapon. A silencer/supressor (which it appears to have) is not very effective at supersonic bullet speeds because of the sound barrier shock wave - the boom. So subsonic rounds would be desirable. No boom, by the time people realize what happened, the shooter has moved out of position and is out of sight.
With subsonic .22, a decent scope (which it appears to have had) with enough elevation range to make up for the 30-55 inch bullet drop at 200 yards (depending on your zero range, of course), on a relatively calm day, a skilled shooter can hit the target at that range.
I had to read up on 22 LR range because I didn’t think it would be effective much past 100 yards. I was surprised to see that it can be, although I’d prefer something with a little more “oomph” like .223 for that shot.
