I actually think there is something to the genetic pool remaining after a war.
I have long thought that the USA got started with good genes - people who took a big risk to be free and start something new - and were willing to fight to the death to keep it.
Current “migrants” are mostly parasites - at best.

Having married a french and visiting for 30 years, kids still live there, I would say yes, the Frenchmen that descended from the Grand Armee for the most part was extinguished during WWI.
