When our founding fathers establish this republic, they created a political and economic system unique among nations a system which has led the united states to the very pinnacle in wealth and in world leadership. This series of programs is being presented to help all of us understand better our advantages under our American way of life

For today's topic let's join now a group of young people at the National Program workshop in Searcy, Arkansas. At the classroom lectern is Dr. Clifton L. Ganus jr., noted young historian.

For my 300th thread, I am posting a digitized version of a 12-minute 16mm black and white educational film on the American economy. Dr. Clifton L. Ganus, future president of Harding College, now Harding University, contrasts the American approach to free market capitalism with British-style socialism and Soviet Communism.

I watched this same movie in a junior high school American History class six decades ago.
