I still have twenty pounds of the stuff that hasn’t done much. I remember it was $45 an ounce in the Kenyan’s regime. Now, barely at $40.

Hold on to any 1964 and earlier silver coins - any kind - they have the highest silver content.

When you buy ‘junk silver’ it is usually a combination of those coins in a bucket. I have several that I’ve inherited from my dad. The value is based upon weight when you go to cash them in.

I am adding silver weekly to my bag. Have been since May.
I now have money in the stock market
Bitcoin, other cryptos, and physical gold & silver.

I add to them every week.

1964 or before, all dimes, Quarters, and halves were 90% silver.

My local shop verifies the coins as being pre-1964, and pays me on the number of coins, not the weight, although that would make sense as many show substantial wear and are unlikely to be at full weight.

Yep. That’s why my dealer weighs the total mass in ‘junk silver’ versus price per coin. I’ve seen it handled both ways. I’ve been using the same guy for over a decade now; he’s been very trustworthy.
