Why is measles dangerous?
The recent measles outbreak underscores the need for every child to be vaccinated. Jesse Couk, M.D., a Piedmont infectious disease specialist, explains why measles is dangerous and how it can be prevented.

Could the gamma globulin shot with measles antibodies that you got at the age of seven, brought on your body’s violent reaction to getting measles at 28???

Before the measles vaccine, it was 500 or more per year.
Vaccines cause adults.
What’s the death rate in adults who get it?
And how would the availability of anti-virals- anti-inflammatories, and anti-biotics that I didn’t have in the 60’s when I got it affect both survival and other un fortunate endings like blindness; deafness, brain damage, etc?
If parents paid attention to how the course of the disease was progressing in their children, think a lot of the potential problems could be avoided.
I had the Measles. Many kids did.
And in at least two of those cases, which were posted about here on FR, it turned out it wasn’t the measles that caused the death but medical malpractice in dealing with post measles illness. Wrong diagnosis and treatment by the Mainstream medical complex.
But like the Covid scam, the death was connected simply to boost numbers and crate fear in the populace.
Besides, you do understand enough math to know what *averages* are, don’t you?
After the vaccine there was no need for measles parties.
Three of my siblings and I were all less than four years apart (my poor mom) and in one year, several different child hood infections hit our family, one kids at a time.
In that year, we went through measles, mumps; chicken pox, rubella, and impetigo. My parents had on sick child for most of one year and couldn’t go anywhere.
It was a tough year on them.
Ribavirin is the only antiviral with activity against measles. I treated one adult with measles pneumonia with it, but they died anyway.

What changed? The availability of a vaccine with a decades long history of safety and efficacy.

You’re ignoring the scaremongering, and the authors of the scaremongering - Piedmont Healthcare - ignore the real cause of measles outbreaks in the US, choosing instead to attack the collective ‘anti vaccine movement’ which is a continuation of the attacks originating under the plandemic.
But I shouldn’t have to explain any of this...
let alone ‘the real cause’ of the measles outbreaks...
I agree.
Measles outbreaks are due to unvaccinated illegal aliens entering US unvetted. .
