A husband, wife, and their 12-year-old daughter were arrested at Corewell Health Taylor Hospital after police said they initiated fights in the lobby.
The incident occurred at about 3 p.m. on Aug. 10. Detective Lt. Frank Canning said the confrontations began when a loved one of the family was petitioned for a mental health evaluation.
It made the family members angry and combative as they objected, police said.
As the situation grew out of hand the police were called.
“It was full fisticuffs,” Canning said. “They were all one team.”
The lieutenant said security guards were involved, and there might have been some office staff members and a nurse, too.
Canning said the juvenile was so worked up she squared up against a police officer.
“She wanted to fist fight with officers,” Canning said.
He believes the emotional nature of the situation played a role in the family’s reaction. The family could be facing misdemeanor charges.
It’s most likely mudslimes, that’s probably correct.
Someone was being detained for a psych eval
Someone was being detained for a psych eval..
Fighting is not unusual. Don’t know why it made the news.
Usually 8 to 10 staff are involved
What is a “mudslime”?

More and more ... we see whole elements of our society that have skipped that benchmark. We have cultivated wave after wave of people who enter society with little or NO concept of proper conduct or personal responsibility
Indeed, this area proves that white low IQ people tend to breed more low IQ children. That area has been blue as long as I can remember, most of it anyway.
This is true. And newborn white infants especially if you don't have insurance or a family to fight for you.
However -- I didn't go to the link -- this incident is probably not a case of kidnapping disguised as righteous intervention.
Near Detroit?

“...began when a loved one of the family was petitioned for a mental health evaluation.”
The whole family needs a mental health evaluation, followed by years of in-patient treatment. Any chance of a group-rate?
Don’t bother trying to click. They want money, and any real photos are behind their paywall.
I wasn’t very clear in my OP
My kidnapping comment was more in view of ‘medically’ kidnapping a patient.
Refusing to release a person bec they want to run more tests.
I’ve personally felt this way twice at the hospital, I’m on Medicare w good MediGap insurance. Hospital holds me for the entire 5 days Medicare allows before they either come up w a med issue or have to kick me loose. They kicked me loose both times after 5 days
