"I am going to lead a movement to get rid of MAIL-IN BALLOTS,” President Trump declared Monday in a Truth Social post. Later that day, he promised an executive order “to end mail-in ballots because they are corrupt. You know we are the only country in the world, I believe, I may be wrong, just about, the only country in the world that uses them because of what happened, massive fraud all over the place.”
Trump has remained consistent; even before the 2020 election, he warned: “There is a lot of dishonesty going on with mail-in voting.”
Trump doesn’t need to hedge about voting rules abroad. Poland was the one other country that considered conducting its 2020 presidential election by mail during the pandemic, but even it abandoned the attempt. Countries don’t use the kind of mass mail-in voting now used in eight states – where states automatically send ballots to all registered voters, who then mail them back. That system differs from absentee ballots, which require a request and traditionally demanded a reason, such as being out of town on Election Day.
The United States stands out not only for mail-in ballots but also for its unusually broad use of absentee ballots. Of the 47 European countries, 35 – including France, Italy, the Netherlands, Norway, and Sweden – ban absentee voting for citizens living inside the country. Ten others – including England, Ireland, Denmark, Portugal, and Spain – allow it only if voters pick up their ballots in person and present photo ID. Six of those restrict absentee ballots to the military or hospitalized voters, and they require verification from the military or hospital itself. The U.S., by contrast, lets anyone claim they will be out of town and receive a ballot by mail.

Can the states be trusted to do it on their own? I doubt that the far left states would do it.

We either grind ours or use them to start camp fires.
Mail in ballots = voter fraud
Early voting = voter fraud
No ID needed to register = voter fraud
No ID needed at poling place = voter fraud
Ballot harvesting = voter fraud
Rank choice voting = voter fraud
“Ballot curing” (Kaifornia) = voter fraud
In California ballots are handed out like Halloween candy.
My neighbor got three, one to a person who hadn’t lived there in 10 years.
The ballot harvesters are happy to pick up all of them - and mark them for the Democrat, of course.
Yet the alphabet networks and Democrats (same thing) continue to tell us how “safe” and “secure” the American election process is.
So safe and secure you don’t need an ID to vote.

The process for early voting is the same as on the day voting, it is no more likely to allow for fraud.

Ranked choice voting is no more or less likely to allow for fraud.
Same day voting in person at polling stations just like it was when I started voting. Democrats will still cheat but not nearly as blatantly. The US elections are a joke nowadays.

“Mail In Ballots” is DemonRAT speak for Stealing an Election.
I’d even replace those with ballots only secured at voting stations on military bases. I would do away with absentee ballots, too. Finally, I’d make the federal election day a federal holiday so no one would miss work to vote.

IMO *anything* other than "election day" being one day,ID required,etc equals voter fraud.

That’s the only thing that makes sense
Computerization is the voting method of the day. A few clicks
on your hand held device no matter where you are at the time
and you have voted. Life is grand and getting grander or so it
is being said. You don’t need polling stations with the devices
of today.
I don’t think people who can physically get to a polling place should be able to vote by mail. People who are out of their county of residence or out of the country should definitely be allowed to vote by mail.
