They went bankrupt, shut down all their stores, and liquidated. Overstock bought their name and slapped it on an internet site to sell Overstock goods.

The company I work for has had a physical brick and mortar location in three different California cities and just last year announced we were closing down all three stores for the exact same reasons. Just too expensive to have a physical presence there. The customers we have in those markets can still buy from us online but that’s it.
