With President Trump pressuring the meeting Zelenskyy and Putin may be tired of the war, each likely has blackmail info on each other and possibly they'll agree to cut their losses.
Putin wants a landlink to Crimea, Zelinskyy knows he's lost and wants to keep as much of captured territory of Ukraine as possible but still end the war. He's got lots of cash outside Ukraine waiting for him, I suspect.IMHO.
