Won’t matter. Their excuse is that everybody else’s slavery was a “good” normal, benevolent kind of slavery. LOL. Basically “unpaid servants” or “over worked family members.” Only the evil white man invented “chattel slavery.”
I have seen a Leftist I know make that exact argument probably a decade ago or more.
I saw this days ago and the comments were incredibly ignorant. Many were saying none of what the man said was true, that only Europeans enslaved people, other places slaves were temporary servants, yada yada yada.
Never mind all you need to do is crack open any ancient text to read all about slaves.

True, as long as you count middle eastern Muslims as white. Everybody else’s slaves were born into it, captives, or indentured people. Everywhere else a ‘slave’ could rise to wealth and power.
Only Islamic slaves were chattel slaves and remain so until the present day. Other places like Europe, the US, South American countries adopted the muslim practice, without realizing they were abandoning their historic ‘slavery’ and taking on the Islamic seeds that had once before destroyed them.
Remaining silent only reenforces the lies about slavery and allows the false narrative to gain more legitimacy.
So, this should be said, and a lot more often. Only then does the truth start to break through the lies that have surrounded the despicable slavery narratives that are rife with lies.
