You have said correctly that I have had no interaction with Freepers, and I will have to own that.
But deciding my entire motive for sending my pointers to our articles is an ego - is quite a stretch. It is also judgmental and also a push into the private and personal.
Some of the other material you have dug up is very personal. Like the progressives we all dislike, you gathered a little dirt slung it out with no fact-checking or regard to the ‘rest of the story’.
I suspect you will not understand this, but some people have a motive, hidden or open; others have a calling. I am under a calling, and for that I will never be ashamed.
I have and will live each day for the gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ and for the country I love.
I don’t like this riff we have, and I may decide just to quietly bow out, but I would rather it be on good terms.
I am living on retirement, I preach for no salary, and I accept no funds for any work I do on the site, and it is a lot. I am not complaining, but I have often thought that I should send FR what I could.
I have never been much of a blogger, and my replies across the net have been few and far between. I have often thought, correctly or not, that the submissions I made had good, inspiring, or encouraging content, so as a man without too many bucks - that was my contribution.
I suppose it is unreasonable to expect you to share that view.
I have always longed to ask FR one question; I never did because I thought it would seem too personal or disrespectful.
I have always wondered why it takes 80K a year to run your site.

Seems you're sorry you got involved in an exchange of only a short term leading to the proof that you've flogged your blog for a very long time, hardly ever replied to a Freeper on your threads, published others' copyrighted material without citation, and more.
