According to Pres. Trump, for 2025, to date:

112,500 Russian forces killed.
8,000 Ukrainian forces killed.
14:1 ratio of Russians to Ukrainians killed YTD.

Year to date total Russian casualties (killed, wounded, captured), estimated by Ukrainians and others at around 260,000 for the capture of about 1,200 square miles (YTD) of Ukraine (one half of one percent), or roughly 215 Russian casualties per square mile taken.

That is an exchange rate Ukrainian can maintain as long as supplies of military necessities continue.

So, finally, your beloved mad-Vlad the Invader wants to meet Pres. Trump, in Alaska(!), now that Trump seriously threatens mad-Vlad's oil revenues.

If Trump can get war in Ukraine stopped, that will be a major accomplishment, allowing Trump to turn Ukraine over to the Euros and letting the US "pivot" towards facing the larger global threats in the Indo-Pacific.
