If you are sending checks through the mail you are asking for a huge headache when someone inside the post office steals that check, washes it, writes a big check, and cashes it.

Do NOT use the U.S. Mail, it has been trashed by DEI.

There is ink that doesn't wash but I agree. Had it happen to me and while I was at the bank they told me that someone's tax payment for the county was stolen as well. I rarely write checks
