That’s my thought.

He’s foul and mean and ugly. Why watch?

There are some decent music radio stations on there. When we have to, we listen to games on the sports channels, too.

I’m not giving up my Sirius XM. Not yet.

He ultimately became the thing he used to be against.

Stern has always been nothing more than a pig making p*ssy and d*ck jokes. Now, he’s just a woke pig making p*ssy and d*ck jokes. The fact that a no-talent pig like him can make hundreds of millions of dollars is truly disheartening.

I used to listen to Howard Stern religiously back in the day..every single morning Id turn on the radio and listen to him, Robin, and of course Ba Ba Booie, then he changed, he became hardcore leftist and it just changed him, he wasn’t funny anymore, he just became boring and angry

Stern is just a foul mouthed, loud, obnoxious Jew New Yorker.

Looking at the number his interviews of actors and actresses, in both television and movies, the show likely had significant funding by movie and television studios.

With the decline in viewership of television and movies, the studios would be far less willing to pay to get their actors and actresses on his show.

Was a groundbreaker a long time ago. In his day, he was a king on the radio.
There was nobody as good at that shtick.

The world turns. People change. Technology advances.

Will always remember what it was. The Howard Stern Show on the radio was indeed, a very big deal.

Stern famously interviewed presidential hopeful, Vice President Kamala Harris, in the run-up to the 2024 election.

Well now they’re both out of a job.

I thought he was mildly interesting during the 90s when he would have Sen. Al D’Amato on for a guest interview and championed capital punishment. He was still too full of himself for my taste and got progressively worse.

As far as drive-time entertainment I much preferred Roe Conn in Chicago and the Drew and Mike show in Detroit. Never tuned in to Stern again after the mid-90s.

It wasn't just lower viewership, it was also that he didn't get the first Kamala Harris interview. That instead went to a podcaster show "Call Her Daddy".

From October 2024:

The Left wants him out of the way to get someone to take some audience away from Joe Rogan.

Didn’t listen to the Stern/Harris interview. Did he ask her to kiss another woman or ask her to strip for him? That seems to be the focus of most of his shows.

He was on Sirius because the show was seriously stupid. His show was basically for high school brained adults.

I don't see how Sirius stays on the air. Their corporate "LOOP" of artist is a huge problem. Just try for example listening to their classic rock Genre. I guarantee you'll hear Queen as an example and changing stations won't help because they have several channels playing the artist three or four top songs.

They burn their listeners out on their overplayed songs by limited artist. Last time I had it a few years ago at about $5 a month I canceled it. Between the same songs over and over and the stations dropping out driving through the hills with trees overhead it wasn't worth the hassle.

My radio has a CD player, USB Ports, and bluetooth I can link my cell with, so I convert what music I want from my CD's left safely at home to MP3 then put them on a thumb drive and no more Killer Queen, Bohemian Rhapsody, Doobie Brothers, etc that that are on at least three stations. Willie Nelson has a decent channel and last time I listened a decent mix and variation. To be honest I don't even listen to the free previews any more.
