I thought he was mildly interesting during the 90s when he would have Sen. Al D’Amato on for a guest interview and championed capital punishment. He was still too full of himself for my taste and got progressively worse.
As far as drive-time entertainment I much preferred Roe Conn in Chicago and the Drew and Mike show in Detroit. Never tuned in to Stern again after the mid-90s.
Drew and Mike were a huge turn off to me... I was just started giving them a chance and one of them said, “...Oh the Davidians were a bunch of wackos that deserved to be exterminated...” Larry I couldnt believe it!! I never listened to them again.... not even for 10 seconds!!
My turn off with Stern was, I forget the black girl’s name, his partner he had on his show. Rozz? Linda? anyway, talking about the date she went on the night before and asked her on the air if she let her date hammer her in the A**... I looked at the radio and smh... turned it off never to return!! I’m a slight perv from way back, but live on the air!?? absolutely ZERO fkn class...
