I’ll never forget reading a story - decades ago - about a boyfriend killing his girlfriend’s toddler by pouring black pepper down the poor babies throat.

I would 100% support this, and would argue it doesn't fall under unusual punishment at all. Except, some of the guys do some pretty depraved stuff, and now you're going to have to find someone almost as mentally messed up to be able to do it to the guy. As a day job..
