Yes. In my case, he was a serial adulterer, and he had the flaming nerve to put “LL” on the household budget. Mom said it meant “L**** may-she-rot-in-Hell Lewis”. She cost more than our groceries.

At that point, you become just a convenience to him to take care of the house, do the laundry, cooking cleaning, etc.
It’s easier to let *mommy* take care of you while you live as you please. What a despicable man.
