Mr. Fermi was, like most, overestimating Earth's place in a universe so vast we still can't determine it's size. If Einstein was correct about the limitations of speed then the only civilizations able to reach us must possess technology that somehow overcomes the laws of physics as we know them:

They'd be way, way smarter than us.

So smart that we may be TOO well known and are regarded as a backwater laughing stock of primitives surely on the way to self-destruction.

UFOs may be their equivalent of juvenile delinquents joy-riding here through some dimensional means for a hoot.

I DO believe that our Vice President, usually the nominal head of NASA, should have as much factual information on these matters than nearly anyone else. Openly postulating like that when records are finally being opened proving these incidents are real makes him look incompetent.

He said its so powerful it now exceeds all phd in every discipline and that he expects a number of scientific discoveries based on its use before the end of the year. He further said that Grok 5 will still more powerful. He expect Grok 5 to cause a new physics before the end of 2026.

Both Chatgpt and google deepmind competed in a math olympiad in the last couple of weeks. Both programs aced all questions. This has never been done before.

what AI people are saying now is that AI has now perfected both all math and all computer programming. They are now working on making the programs that runs scientific questions to be self iterative. That means that rather than the scientists asking the questions, getting answers, and then asking more questions—the computers do all that.

As of now the AI does roughly 20% of that. That percentage is going to rise over the next year. As the percent approaches 100% the speed of new discoveries is going to increase—including a new physics.

The new physics is what will enable us to einstein’s speed limit and take us to the stars.
