I’m looking at the map in the Now picture as I hadn’t seen it before. Does it appear to anyone else that there is a light bluish green color between the orange (Russia Occupied) and the White (Ukraine) to anyone else?
It may just be my eyes playing tricks on me, but I think that may be a proposed DMZ. A DMZ similar to what is in NK, but patrolled on the Ukraine side by a rotating European security force has always been one of the things I thought the Russians would be open to.
No missles or heavy hardware, just soldiers; but that would certainly provide a security guarantee for the Ukranians without making the Russkies feel overly pressured. Not NATO, heck it could even be UN instead of EU.
