You're missing the pattern. This is the same across many, many BIG issues.
It goes like this:
- POTUS is for it = Media and dems are against it. Issue amplified, people pay attention.
- POTUS is furiously against it = Media and dems are now for it. They get cocky. Issue amplified more, even more people pay attention.
- POTUS is for it again = Media and dems are trapped. People wake up.
It's not always a 'for/against flip-a-roo' = dem humiliation. Sometimes it's a 'POTUS says something outrageous > media claims its a lie > dump-of-fact-O-Ramma.' = dem humiliation.
In every instance, POTUS is playing the media and dems like a fiddle. I'm here for it.
