This is disappointing! Wasn’t Rogers believed to be a white hat?

Adm Rogers visited Trump at Trump Tower and told him he was being spied on etc. His involvement in this treason may have been a sting thing. I do not think Rogers a black hat. Surprises happen, so...?

The communications between Adm Rogers and the traitors was about the Democratic party servers being “hacked” supposedly by Russians. At least that’s what it looks like to me. There seem to be two different issues involving Rogers, one being the supposed “hacking” by Russians of the Democrat server or whatever it was, the other being the Russia/gate junk trying to bring down Trump.

Anyone who can clear this up for the Brain Damaged one (now with fever on top of everything), much appreciated.

There is no indication that Rogers' disappointed Trump in this or any other declassification, quite the opposite.

Imagine being Admiral Michael S. Rogers; serving as Director of the National Security Agency (NSA) and Commander of U.S. Cyber Command at the time vs. Clapper, Comey, Brennan.

Rogers' Response and Request

Concerns: His team lacked sufficient access to underlying intelligence and time for thorough review, preventing "absolute confidence" in assessments. He emphasized needing full transparency, including personal review of "even the most sensitive evidence" to co-author and stand behind the product without hesitation.

Request: Adjust the process for NSA's full involvement or clarify if it's a CIA/FBI-only product, in which case he'd "stand down."

Clapper replied at 7:43 PM, acknowledging concerns but insisting on compromise due to the tight timeline, calling it a "team sport" requiring all agencies (CIA, NSA, FBI, ODNI) to align and support the report.

Did Rogers Resist or Was He "In On It"?

Rogers resisted the potentially politicized rush against Trump by demanding evidentiary rigor and access. Evidence includes:

NSA's "moderate confidence" in the final ICA's key Putin-Trump judgment (vs. CIA/FBI's "high").

His unannounced November 2016 meeting with Trump on surveillance, prompting Obama admin removal calls.

Retention and praise under Trump until 2018 retirement.

No evidence suggests complicity; his actions indicate pushback for integrity.

The gist of Roger’s diplomatically worded letter is ‘show me the receipts or you are on your own’.

Admiral Rogers maintained a perfectly diplomatic posture in his ready response, to tell the bad guys, basically, that his team; #1) finds nothing to corroborate so far, and #2) that the bumped up time frame means there is no time to complete a thorough investigation of all of the materials received, by the deadline.

And, 3) thanks for your attention to this matter. Better luck next time.

No?

You’re right. It was the Admiral who warned Trump of the bugging in Trump Towers. Trump retrenched immediately to his NJ golf club, bag and baggage, so to speak.

Admiral Rogers kept a low profile and retired in relatively short order, thereafter. 😁
