I fail to see how American beef prices and grocery prices are related to Israel's economy. Further, instead of Congress working on price controls, they need to be seriously working on their run away profligate spending that caused the spike in inflation that contributed to higher food priced in the first place!
Speaking of run away profligate spending, I noticed when it came time to stand for curbing spending earlier, MT Greene voted with the crowd. And when the GOP had the chance to cut the DOGE ID'd 'waste and fraud' - they couldn't do it...
Regarding Israel, there is now a powerful global movement to isolate Israel, eventually to weaken and then abolish it. The Autopen Administration was part of that movement. At present America is just about Israel's only friend. The Congress favors Israel after a fashion because 1/ it is popular with the American people, and 2/ the power of the American Jewish community.
The recent threat by France and Britain to 'recognize a Palestinian state' (in the Levant) is near insanity. There is NO Palestinian state, and to establish one is, by definition, the end of Israel! Israel is a tiny country! It (foolishly) ceded a tiny part of its territory, Gaza, for Palestinians to have local rule... they turned it into a war zone and a terrorist murderous threat! What would 'a Palestinian state' look like???
IMHO, the current global move against Israel is evidence of a powerful spiritual push to precipitate the apocalypse before its time. As a Bible believer, I believe that those who bless Israel will God bless - and vice versa. I urge caution at present in considering favoring the force building against Israel.
