Chinese Epic Fail Playing Chicken at Sea
Much of the world’s commerce at sea passes by the Scarborough Shoal in the South China Sea. The reef is of strategic importance. In 2012, the Chinese captured it from the Philippines, creating an ongoing flash point.
In the latest naval game of chicken, Philippine Coast Guard patrol vessels received a report of harassment and “hazardous maneuvers” against Philippine fishing vessels in the area. Philippine Coast Guard spokesman Commodore Jay Tarriela said one of their ships responded to the call for help.
It was then that the China Coast Guard ship CCG 3104 began pursuing the Philippine coast guard vessel BRP Suluan. The Chinese opened up water cannons and began a hazardous maneuver near the starboard rear of the Filipino ship.
What follows is an epic fail of the Chinese attempt to blockade the area.
A stunning video shows that as the Chinese Coast Guard vessel continued in hot pursuit, the Chinese navy guided-missile destroyer Guilin made a dangerous attempt to cut off the Philippine ship. While it missed cutting off the Philippine ship, footage taken from the Philippine vessel shows the Chinese Navy and the Chinese Coast Guard doing a smash-and-bang worthy of a Road Runner cartoon.
Some of the Chinese Coast Guard crew attempted to soften the blow when they realized a crash was imminent, but in no time, their bow had crumbled. The Navy ship it rammed sustained damage to its hull from a large-scale sideswipe fender bender. It looked like an NFL play gone terribly wrong.

One major problem the Dems are about to face head-on is the fact that crime in DC is about to evaporate as a direct and nearly immediate result of the decision to remove home rule from DC and actually enforce the law.
Kinda like how he exposed the Biden administration (and Democrats in general) on our Southern border. We didn’t face an unsolvable disaster; we just had to enforce the laws already on the books.
Securing our border made clear to everyone in DC and abroad that it was always possible...all that was required was the will to tackle the problem instead of enabling it.
The same applies to DC.
Now, imagine the exact thing happening in some of the worst large cities in the US as Trump methodically changes the course of our country, similarly by delivering safety and security for all to see.
Regular folks across the political spectrum are about to have their eyes opened big time as to the true cost of unchecked leftism. A cost, mind you, that they have been paying for in an ungodly amount of blood & treasure unnecessarily. And for a long time at that.
It doesn’t take a genius to understand that the Democrats, and their mid-term prospects, will suffer greatly (and deservedly) as a result.
This sort of stuff is why you have to retain situational awareness of EVERYTHING going on around you and not get tunnel vision on your immediate task.
The COs of both of the PRC ships were probably Court Martialed over that one, as well they should be.

Note the projection about Trump wanting to 'create chaos in cities'. Rioters in Seattle periodically used to surface in the news to complain their riots weren't getting enough press. That ended around mid-June, along with the loudly bragged about various 'protests' the lefties were planning. There were also creepy posts about how other countries dealt with their political resistance through sabotage.
It's actually been much quieter on Imgur regarding the next big 'protest' on Sept 1.
There are fewer threatening posts - this image is in the comments, and appears to advocate pelting peope (Elon) with canned food and/or bricks.
Perhaps law enforcement reads imgur to plan their next enforcement actions around riots.
