- 48 hours ago Ukrainian forces thought that Russia will push on west towards Rodyns'ke ( watch the green arrows) Ukraine was preparing for the eventuality of fighting a siege battle.
- The Ukrainians had prepared intensive fortifications north of Rodyns'ke with dragon teeth (concrete blocks), Czech hedgehogs, anti-tank ditches, and other physical barriers like barbed wire and log obstacles, they were pretty confident that Russia would not breach the two lines of fortifications north of Rodyns'ke.
- On the intervening night of Saturday & Sunday Russia did just that by moving not more than 3-4 DRG's groups across the two lines of fortifications clearing the way for the Infantry & light motorized Infantry.
