I love me some krill boudin. Extra spicy.

It was discovered and tested in the 1990's that sea-based iron fertilization of ocean waters dramatically stimulates phytoplankton growth so much that the blooms can be seen from space. Krill feed on phytoplankton. This story feels like fear mongering to me....maybe to attempt to increase fish market prices?

killing 1% of the U.S.’ deer population but leaving out that all of the deer were shot in Rhode Island.”
Are the deer not allowed back into Rhode Island?

“It’s the equivalent of a hunter saying that they’re only killing 1% of the U.S.’ deer population but leaving out that all of the deer were shot in Rhode Island.”Not really. Currents aren't going to carry deer from the rest of the U.S. into Rhode Island and even out the population density in the off season.

It's the Chinamen and Japs who deplete the ocean.

This is totally bogus.
From ChatGPT
A single Antarctic blue whale — the largest animal on Earth — can consume up to 16 metric tons of krill per day during peak feeding season. That’s roughly the weight of two school buses!

I can give you an easy and quick way to save the oceans.
You will not like it.
Sink every Chinese fishing boat that is found outside of Chinese territorial waters.
The Chinese are doing to the rest of the ocean's creatures what the Russians did to whales.
It needs to be stopped.

Record krill harvesting shows global warming catastrophe, experts say.

Rhode Island is smaller than over 500 counties in the U.S. A good chunk of it isn't particularly deer heavy. Besides, over there all they do is bring Lyme ticks. Both they and the hunters are better off in Wisconsin or Pennsylvania.

Anything that comes from the Sea Shepherd group is hysterics. They had a show on the Animal Planet called “Whales Wars” that was pure farce.
