Speed = 61 km/sec
Closest approach to Earth = 1.8 AU
Perihelion = 1.4 AU (just in Mars orbit)

Coming from the direction of our galaxy center, Sagittarius
Comet average orbital speeds =17 to 25 km/s.

Does that mean that this thing is screaming by our sun compared to the average asteroid? or did I mix types of velocities (orbital speed vs something else)

And does this mean that this poor thing has already zipped by our galactic center and the big black hole?

It may have been flung out by the Galactic Black Hole...That would account for its speed...............
