What does it mean? The typist was conserving energy by not using commas.

“Crockett, reportedly hoping to shut down a piece because Godfrey reached out to other Democrats. was roundly mocked by reporters for not understanding basic journalism.”

Having taken the same typing courses and intro jowhorenalism courses in my life, I simply inserted them into the sentence structure so it would make sense.

Public education victims… can’t get ‘em to work in the fields to pick our vegetables, or trust them to clean toilets or work at fast-food places; they all think they’re “better than,” full of false self-esteem.

Needs an identifing noun or pronoun after first period. I prefer noun to provide clarity.

If one cannot write gracefully, at least be clear. The author is neither.
