I feel like there has been and likely will not be accountability in government. Even when they do get a guy red handed breaking the law they let him go with no real punishment. Consider that guy (name escaping me ... Klinesmith?) who put false info in FISA applications, basically lying to the court to obtain illegal warrants. Did he get disbarred? Jailed? Anything? No, slap on the wrist and not even fired. He left on his own and is probably making a great living as on K Street. They had Hillary red handed and said that no reasonable prosecutor would charge her, she skates. They had Biden red handed with classified documents in his garage, he skates because the prosecutor said he felt sorry for him.

Bottom line: nobody in government is held accountable for obvious crimes anymore, and Trump didn't get any help in his first term (they railroaded Sessions out ASAP and put deep state guys into AG role) and it seems Bondi is no better.

Just as an exercise, here is a short list of 'got caught doing irrefutable crimes, got away with it all' people in government:

Peter Strzok
Lisa Page
Andrew McCabe
James Comey (for leaking classified info)
Kevin Clinesmith (falsifying info on FISA Apps)
Hillary Clinton (classified docs on server, lying under oath)
Joe Biden (classified docs all over the place)

These are just the ones I can recall off top of my head, I am sure I am leaving out a bunch.
