I need to be very careful about handling the aneurysm. The vascular surgeon said it would be very difficult to attempt to fix with stents and I would probably not survive the attempt. I'm not sure how much the calcium is helping or hurting support of the aneurysm, so I'm reticent to fiddle with a stable situation. When it pops, I'll have about 10 seconds to realize it happened before signing off for eternity. My boss found his brother sitting on the couch holding a popsicle stick. The popsicle had melted. He just did a freeze frame death on his couch. Same kind of aneurysm.

You lose elastin from atherosclerosis. Elastin is degraded in aneurysms.

I would fix what I could. It’s worth a try, in my humble opinion.
