The best jazz from upstate NY. I had bought Friends and Love off ebay. The vinyl arrived the day before Hurricane Katrina. It was lost in the hurricane, along with my turntable. I never got to play the album.

I first heard it on the radio. I was immediately enthralled and became a fan. Then he came and played a concert for our high school. Saw him perform in Utica at the Stanley Theater.
