And yes, can be hard if you work overtime hours in an office and have a long commute.

My border collie as she aged did the same thing. She’d follow me and then stop and want to go back home. We also live up a logging road.

yup and with 7000 steps a day you can still hurt plenty of body parts over time so they still get money out of you for foot, ankle, knee, hip, joint or muscle issues from excessive walking, when so many other simple forms of exercise are much. more healthful than just walking is to the body.

It was a little annoying when he did it 200 yards away from a beaver pond that I’d hiked a couple of miles to, to hunt ducks. Either way, he ended up tired, snoozing on the couch, though.
