Judge Hippler's statement was great. He wept at times. I wonder how long Kohberger will last before another prisoner kills him.

If killing 4 people in pre-meditated murder shouldn’t be grounds for immediate execution, I don’t know what qualifies.

Society is NOT being kind, merciful or just by having this guy sit in prison for the next 50-60 years.

I’d make it my mission in life to get to every member of the prosecution that offered this travesty of a deal.

They’d be looking over their shoulders for the rest of their lives.

Which wouldn’t be very long.

I'll be he gets a Netflix show and a 60 minutes interview first. Anyone who gives this guy notoriety or air time is a bad person.

I give this prick a month before he gets reamed in prison by some 300 pound dude in the prison bathroom..after that, I give it another month before he gets offed by a hero prisoner who strangles him in the prison bathroom. He doesn’t stand a chance he’s done. Heck Ariel Castro offed himself after a few weeks he couldn’t take it

Hope Kohberger wonders, too.

Let’s hope he gets a great big dose of prison justice in the coming weeks. I certainly hope that dropping the soap will be the *least* of his problems.

Lawyers who are hired by the state are often not the best lawyers. The prosecutor choked.

useless article:

1. are the four “life’ sentences concurrent or consecutive?

2. are they life without parole, and if parole, what is minimum before parole can be considered?

google AI provided the answers missing from the nearly useless NY Post article, namely:

“Bryan Kohberger was sentenced to four consecutive life sentences without parole for the murders of four University of Idaho students, plus a 10-year sentence for burglary. He will also face fines and civil penalties totaling $270,000, payable to the families of the victims. The sentencing took place after Kohberger entered a plea deal to avoid the death penalty. “

now, how difficult would it have been to include that information?

Should we continue to expect the prison population carry out their own sentencing on other prisoners convicted of heinous capital crimes?

Not to give the bastard more publicity than he's due, but that is the face of evil.

From what I've read, he is going to the Idaho supermax prison which is one of the worst in the country. He won't be mingling with any other prisoners any time soon.
