As much as we all would like him to get some old fashioned prison justice, the sad part is his parents would the state for failing to protect their son and get several millions.

Its obvious this POS won’t make it in GenPop

“ But the reality is that this plea agreement guarantees that this monster’s fate is sealed, with no further appeals.”

There are no guarantees in life.

None.

They should be made to answer the question “how much money did the government save themselves by not pursuing the death sentence”? As one who has lived through this scenario take it from me, the only way the victim’s families will ever be able to put this tragedy behind them is by implementing the death penalty. Because as long as the perp is alive you must worry that someone will come along and try to get him out someday. For me, knowing that he was executed for his crimes allows the families to say to themselves that “all that could be done, has been done”.

Yep. He’ll be ‘protected’.

Not those kids. They weren’t.

Judge also said that filing Notice of Appeal would be a violation of the plea agreement, so he’d better talk to his attorney about that…

The convict who kills Kohberger will probably get the death penalty!

There is absolutely no reason why this POS was allowed to Plea Bargain. In the good ole’ days he would have been drawn and quartered or...hacked to death. That is the only punishment for his crimes.
Why be soft in these types of cases? Is it the Liberal claim that he can somehow be “reformed”?

100% those prosecutors are bad.
Can you believe he was fined $50k for each murder but was required to pay each family $5k.
Seems it all should have been given to the families
