WOULD LIKE TO HEAR THE $$$$ NUMBERS ON THE OTHER 2.
“I Don’t Like What’s Going on One Bit”
That reminds me of a line at season’s end of Yellowstone. The villain is dying and says to the person who shot him “I wish I’d never met you.” Reply, chuckle “I bet.”
Well jimmy- give the station $40 million from your bank account if you want him to stay- cuz that’s’ what it was costing them apparently to keep the unfunny feller blatting bitter TDS statements all evening- The network doesn’t care what you like- you weren’t the one losing $$
And you’re next.
Tyrus doesn't talk as much as the others but he usually does pretty good and sometimes has the most insightful and clear thoughts on some issue than all of the others.
He should like it - that is a major competitor. And amazingly, he appeared in the audience on CBS for his direct *competitor.* Same genre, same time slot.
If his own show was decent, he would pick up those viewers and it could save the format vs. oversaturation. But no, they are in cahoots, I guess, with an agenda.
Seth Myers of Late Night is even worse than Colbert - surprised he is still on.
I was a little kid in the 80s...it seemed like Ed McMahon was just ubiquitous on television back then - commercials airing during breaks even on shows he was not on during my normal cartoons - probably for those “you may have already won $10 million” envelopes you would get in the mail from Publisher’s Clearinghouse. I can’t really recall seeing The Tonight Show “the first time” staying up, but I do remember it seeming ‘familiar’ simply because of Ed McMahon’s presence. He had such a kind face and caring sounding voice, I guess that’s why as a kid it seemed ‘safe’ to me whenever he was on.
