Medicaid is jointly funded by state and federal. Some states added illegals to the program but agreed they would pay 100% for them.
The data still ends up in the federal system which is why they are freaking out over that data being shared with ICE.

Yeah, education should be next. I live in an area with a high level of illegal immigrants. Our school district has 17% of the student population that are consider English Language Learners. Schools are also funded by property taxes and many large extended families live in small houses which pay little property taxes. Schools are also taxes keep going up and people can’t figure out why.
Maybe start having ICE sit outside emergency rooms? Get treatment and then get deported.
