You are correct. Of course no one is going to jail. No way we get a jury of 12 Americans voting to put a Democrat politician, let alone an ex-President, in jail. There will be at least one Democrat holdout on that jury, whatever the evidence.
I’m not even sure this should be pursued. We already had a trial, and we won. It was called the 2024 election. What do we gain by pushing this? Destroying Obama? Clinton? They’re old news. Trump is the first GOP President to make in-roads with black voters. We could lose that if we start smacking Obama around, as good as that would feel.
The GOP would have to prove not only did Team Obama create the Russia hoax, but they knew it was a hoax. The Democrats will just say, ‘it was our best intelligence at the time Trump was working with the Russians, oops, our mistake maybe’. I’m not sure we have the clear convincing proof they all knew the Steele Dossier was fake, even though we all know it to be the case.
I agree. He ran as a moderate in 2008 and didn't go full Alinsky until after he won his second term. McCain and Romney didn't know how to form coalitions and ridiculed Trump for doing so.
