I was always wondering why I liked Lynsi Snyder so much and how she could be such a NORMAL, and wise, person running a multi-billion dollar operation.

I found my answer in Wikipedia: “In the early 2000s, Snyder took auto-mechanics, engine performance, and diagnostics classes at Citrus College”

Yeah, her dad was big on drag racing at Irwindale back in the day. He would take her along. I think IN N OUT is still a big sponsor of quarter mile drags.

A great book to read about the IN N OUT story is availabe on Amazon. It’s a story of triumph and tragedy for sure, including the company jet that crashed back in the 90s in Orange County killing the then brother in charge and other key executives. Leaving the other brother (her dad) to run things but he was a drug addict. He was smart enough though not to change anything.

Then he died and that’s how she became the sole owner. The trust set up by the parents allowed only a blood relative to have ownership....she’s the only surviving blood relative of the original 4....Dad, Mom, and 2 sons. The son killed never had any children. So she’s a billionaire. Quite a story to read..

The Snyder family has been involved with the LA Roadster Show ever since day one. I’m wondering if that is going to change. One of my friends in Tucson is a charter member of the LA Roadster Club. This year is the first year he didn’t attend the show. He decided that it’s too crazy to visit California ever again.
