WASHINGTON – Today, the Justice Department filed a complaint in the U.S. District Court of Washington, D.C. against three former members of the Corporation for Public Broadcasting for refusing to vacate their offices after being removed by President Donald J. Trump.
The subjects of this complaint have continued to operate in office despite their removal and subsequent failure to obtain legal relief protecting their old positions. This litigation reflects the Department’s ongoing commitment to protecting the President’s core Article II powers, which include the authority to make personnel decisions regarding those occupying federal offices.
The complaint asks the court to declare that the former members have not lawfully served on the board since their removals, to enjoin the former members from serving on the board, and to order the former members to refund any compensation during their unlawful terms of service.

I don't get this. Who is authorizing money to be deposited into their accounts, and why don't whomever those people are just stop doing it?
I suppose there's an explanation for that, but the way the article is written it is difficult to know.

They should also pay all legal costs back to the government.
Only if they refuse to leave. Cut off all electricity, phone, internet and water, then jam the cell signals so they can’t use their cellphones.

I was thinking the same thing, wondering what the hell the government is doing going back to court.
After all, handcuffs work. So do door keys.
This and stop paying them, cancel their corporate credit cards and ask the Sheriff to physically remove them and charge them with trespassing.

They need to have their key cards immediately de-activated and told to meet security in the parking lot who will hand them their personal stuff. Case closed.
This is what is done in the private sector at my daughter's company. No way are are terminated employees allowed back into the building.
