Cheap? My wife loved the breakfast buffet at Bellagio. Last time we went (years ago), the price was $52 each. Not cheap when Denny’s is right down Las Vegas Blvd.

Right? The morons on X are saying foreigners won’t visit Vegas because they’re afraid of being arrested. They fail to mention the prices are out of control and not worth it anymore.
Never been to ‘Vegas. Never plan on it. I just heard about the cheap buffets.
You couldn’t pay me to stay at Circus Circus. A friend of mine stayed there in January and the sheets in their bed when they checked in were absolutely filthy. They cleaned it up but they didn’t even comp the room partially.
Hey you were talking about no cheap places to stay on the strip. That’s it. Treasure Island, Luxor, and Excalibur are next. Strat is ghettoed out now. Off strip isn’t much better with pricing anymore. Unless you’re a gambler and get comps you’re pretty much screwed on room rates. And you still have to pay the resort fees on a comp….unless they like you. Quite few casinos/hotels are ghettoed out now.
Drinks and food and to a degree, even rooms used to be free. I think they figured out that they didn’t need to do that.
But I think they may now be revising that thinking.🤣
Yep, I hear you. But what I’m hearing is that the trip to Vegas isn’t worth it. If you go somewhere cheap, it’s either going to be off the strip and decent or on the strip and skanky. There are plenty of nice places to stay within an hour or two drive of where I live, and if I want to drive a little further than that the Indian Casinos are lovely and inexpensive (apart from gambling of course!) Sad to say but unless Vegas makes some changes I will not be going there any time soon.

Nothing to do with Trump. Yes, Vegas has become VERY expensive. We stopped at Eataly in the Park MGM - very expensive. You used to be able to park in Vegas at the casinos for fee - NOPE, not any more.
Yep, up to $100/ day for those two alone.

I’ve lived in Vegas for 4 years now. I go nowhere near the strip. Much nicer casinos with their own parking. Red Rock, Silverton, South Point and the brand new Durango Station. Red Rock and South Point are my faves.
Last time I was there was in June of 1998. My wife and I did a long drive around the western US on our honeymoon (3400 miles, total). We stopped in town and slept on the grass between the sidewalk and one of the hotels. Literally.
We then woke up and left town. I have no reason to go there. Never have.
