Russia sends Trump chilling 5-word warning as 500% sanctions threat issued

Russia has sent a stark and chilling warning to Donald Trump, as the US Congress prepares to vote on a new batch of sanctions against Moscow.

-snip-

Vladimir Solovyov - a Kremlin apparatchik - warned Trump that Russia could become America's "most terrifying enemy" in a rant on his TV talkshow.

"Maybe Trump simply can't grasp that Russia doesn't care about the national interests of other countries if they contradict those of our own state?" he fumed. Warming to his subject, the Putin stooge continued: "The time when someone like Yeltsin, who randomly emerged from the dust of history, managed to proclaim in Congress that Communism was defeated and 'God bless America and Russia' is gone forever."

Solovyov claimed Russia was facing a threat to its very existence and civilisation, as well as culture - demanding to know why Moscow should submit to "the wishes of the President of the United States". Gripped by an ever growing rage, he thundered: "If you cannot treat us with respect, then instead of a worthy friend and partner, you may find yourself facing the most terrifying enemy you've ever known."

In a final five-word warning to Trump, he hissed that if "350 million Americans" think they can defeat "150 million Russians, then "you clearly don’t understand Russia".

If Trump as you say has no leverage with Putin why is Putins lackey threatening to be our worst enemy ever
if we go ahead with what you say we have no leverage to do?
Does Russia suspect Trump might actually follow through on 500% tariff sanctions on anyone who trades with Russia?
Would that have no leverage?
Was Ukraine about to invade Russia 3 yrs ago? Are they about to now?
Will they ever be in a position to invade Russia like Russia invaded them?
Do you have any sensible take or reply on any of this?

You always ask a lot of questions.

You should be out at camp on a beautiful day like this. Hopefully, the spotty rain don't encourage the mosquitos. I haven't noticed a black fly hatch.

“Does Russia suspect Trump might actually follow through on 500% tariff sanctions on anyone who trades with Russia?”

Trump is unpredictable, purposely so.

Trump probably will try. Trump likes tossing shoes into the works. That means no fashions from Paris or woke dolls from China for Russian women and girls come 2026.

“Would that have no leverage?”

It would be unpleasant, mainly for rich Russians. However, Russia has almost certainly imported the machine tools and semiconductor making equipment from China that it needs.

China has the broadest consumer goods production capability in the world. Russian industrial equipment buyers have probably bought a lot.

Complaining about the existence of a thread ... ON THE THREAD ... is hypocritical. If you don’t like it, don’t click on it.

You’re free to be a hypocrite ... but don’t expect your hypocrisy to go unnoticed. In fact, I’m glad you reveal your true nature. Your hypocritical posts stand in testimony against you.

“The GDP of the United States is a little over 12 times that of Russia.”

The Russians eat three meals a day generally.

They send their kids to school for about the same number of years.

Far more than 1/12th of Russians needing a surgical operation get an operation.

There hasn’t been anybody foaming at the mouth for war here except those who support the Russian invasion of a non threatening sovereign nation.

If it wasn’t for that idiotic invasion tens of thousands of Russians would be at home or work doing ordinary stuff with family and friends- picnicking in the park instead of instead of being chewed up by nightmarish versions of children’s toys, and their biggest fight with a Ukrainian would be in a bar arguing over whose sports team is better.

They aren’t as filled with brotherly love for North Korea as Putin pretends to be, either.

That’s what really sucks about it. If Putin hadn’t started the war does any Russian seriously think they were going to be invaded by Ukraine or anyone else for that matter? They aren’t that stupid. It was all a big distraction from the fact that their leadership has put them right smack dab in the dustbin of history. Just like the communists have been trying to do here.

I love Trump.

I told a Democrat who was freaking out about Trump to just ignore him, and he'll get more sleep.

Trump will do what Trump is gonna do. You zeepers may not like it.
